Why are you stuck with that background. You can paint over it and make your picture anything you want. Add some blue to the sky, a few clouds and you have the making of a landscape. Stick in an old barn or house, some trees and grass or just trees and a stream or any landscape you want. Look through old calendars or painting books for ideas and inspiration and go to it.
