How can i edit video from my dvcam on my computer?
I have recorded something on my sony dvcam. I want to convert this dv tape into digital format to use for a presentation. what equipment do i need to have for this to happen? Is there a way to transfere this content directly to my pc without any extra equipment?
If you have a firewire port on your computer and video camera, you can suck off the video with a program like Windows Movie Maker (free), pinnacle Stuidio, Adobe Premiere,...etc. There's a bunch. All of them have special effects and other cool stuff you can do with your video. If you do have firewire ports on your computer and camera, you just need a cable. USB is a possible option depending on you camera.
