I don't think that some people will stop ragging on Taekwondo until a Taekwondo fighter kills someone with their kicks or at the least, maims or cripples the person at an MMA fight that is highly publicized. I am serious.
I say this because no matter how many times I tell people how I and others I have seen have used Taekwondo in a "real fight", they refuse to believe it. No matter how many times people come to a Taekwondo club and expect to "dominate" and find out that they cannot "dominate" as easily as they thought, they still don't believe it. They will slam Taekwondo because of recreational players who do it just for fun---the 5 year old black belt, the 60 year old grandma black belt, etc, acting as if these types are a disgrace to the martial arts---and ignore anyone who has actually used those kicks or strikes or takedowns "for real". Why? Because they have some sort of ego stake in hating Taekwondo. It could be because Taekwondo is Korean and they or their teacher does not like Koreans. They don't get that "point sparring" and "light contact" is a way for people to practice without giving each other cracked ribs and concussions during every single practice session. They think that Taekwondo does not "go hard enough" even though when I took Boxing, we didn't "go hard" all the time either----we did drills and skills, only doing moderate contact sparring before the match. The "fight" was the time to "go hard", not every single practice session.
People who are blinded by grappling, MMA and full contact hate Taekwondo. Accept it. The only thing that has done for me personally as a Taekwondo practitioner is made me examine other styles and kept me from being closed minded. Because of the grappling hype, I re-discovered Judo (I had taken it as a toddler for a while but was too young to remember doing it until I saw the Sensei and his assistant again, it took both of them a while to remember me because I was what, 4?), and have enjoyed it. Despite the fact that tons of people who are in the martial arts as adults got their first exposure in Taekwondo when they were a child, they still hate it, thinking that it is not "practical" because their instructor did not let children beat the crap out of each other when they are white, yellow or orange belts. And you know what? They are free to think what they want.
Don't look for their approval. You are not going to get it until they see someone seriously damaged by Taekwondo. Even though MMA fighters are already using head kicks and other things that come from Taekwondo. And jump knee strikes.
That's my prediction. A Taekwondo player is going to have to break someone's rib cage, in the cage, in order for some the fanboys and haters and nay sayers to shut up. Look at what the President had to do to shut up some of his critics: he had to kill Osama Bin Freaking Laden. And yet you STILL have people who won't stop hating on him.

Octagonal Trampolines
Octagonal trampolines have eight straight rails with springs that criss-cross, off-setting the centre balance to produce a consistent tension. With less changeable pressure throughout the mat, they're less likely to throw users forward and off balance.
The springs in the centre of the 8 different rails stretch more than the springs toward the end of the rails, to produce a soft and more controlled bounce with more vertical stretch.
Octagonal trampolines offer the easiest way to stay in control of your balance making them ideal for children and inexperienced users who are new to trampolines.
Round Trampolines
In a round trampoline every spring points towards the centre, making the centre very soft and bouncy. Unlike other shaped trampolines, all springs work at the same rate making the bounces softer and slower.
Because the stress on the frame is equally distributed, a lighter, more cost-effective frame can be used and so round designs are often very attractively priced.
