How to decorate your wedding tables on a budget with confetti, petals and scatter crystals
Trying to keep the wedding plans on budget is on the forefront of a lot of couple's minds so here we have a few tips on how to bring the wedding in on budget without losing out on those perfect finishing touches to your wedding tables.
Preserved rose petals are great and look amazing scattered across the tables, they need not be too expensive either and what's more some venues will provide this as part of the table decoration, if in doubt ask your venue. If the venue charges for rose petals then check the costs, and if it comes to more than £20 for about 4 tables then consider buying from a wedding shop as you'll be sure to get a better deal.
If the budget doesn't allow for petals then there are 2 great alternatives in confetti and scatter crystals. Confetti comes in so many different shapes and sizes that there is bound to be a colour and shape to suit your wedding colour theme. Everything from confetti letters which spell ‘Just Married' to glittering little stars and hearts. This really is the cheapest way to decorate the tables but will still look classy and fit in perfectly.
Beware though, this acrylic shiny confetti isn't allowed to be used for throwing over the happy couple as almost all Churches and venues will only allow confetti petals which are biodegradable. Typically biodegradable petals and paper confetti can be bought in little cones perfect for keeping in handbags and great for giving to wedding guests at the Church – a great job for your Flower Girls or Little Bridesmaids to hand out to guests
A really popular finishing touch can be found in scatter crystals and are sure to make the perfect finishing touch. You do not need expensive crystal or glass crystals to give you the best finish, the acrylic scatter crystals you can find in wedding shops online today come in a range of different colours, sizes and shapes and won't break the bank whilst giving you a beautiful finishing touch to your wedding tables, just scatter a few handfuls on tables and stand back and watch your tables sparkle.
