The Straw Hat Pirates
One Piece is a story about a Boy name Luffy who set sail to become the king of pirates with his crew named The Straw Hat Pirates. In the story they are also called the "The Straw Hats" after Luffy's signature straw hat, given to him by a pirates friend called Shanks. The crew First official ship that they used to go on their adventure was named the Going Merry but after the incident in Enies lobby the Going Merry sunk from all the damage took from sailing the sea and the Straw hats had to find a new ship and their friend decided to build a ship for the crew the new ship was called The Thousand Sunny Currently the Straw Hats has total of 9 members whose combined bounties equals to ฿700,000,050.
The Straw Hat Pirates is well known to be one of the most bizarre pirate crew. As a result of Luffy's choice in who joins the crew the Straw Hat Pirates includes Tony Tony Chopper The doctor who is a shape shifting reindeer who can be mistaken for a pet of the Straw Hat Pirates, Franky a cyborg with an eccentric personality who recently became the shipwright that wears almost nothing except for unbuttoned shirt and Speedos, Brook a walking talking skeletal musician (has to be the weirdest one out of all of them), Roronoa Zoro is a pirate, former bounty hunter and one of the main protagonists of One Piece , Nami as the ship's navigator her personality is like many woman in this world (Money Money Money),Usopp the ship's Sharp Shooter, Sanji is a pirate and the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is the fifth member of the crew and the fourth to join, Nico Robin is a tall, slender woman with shoulder length black hair. Many people consider her attractive or even beautiful and last but not lese the Caption him self Monkey D. Luffy is a pirate and the main protagonist of One Piece.
Despite having a small number of members if compared to other crews, the Straw Hats are considered to be one of the most powerful crew that must be captured. In fact after the incident that occurred at Enies Lobby, the World Government has labeled them as a very dangerous crew. All of members have at least one unique talent and each crew member is more or less formidable fighter in their own right. At the beginning Each crew member has a fairly high fighting abilities, but as they progressed each crew member has had to become stronger due to each opponent they encounter either being significantly stronger than the last or has required them to develop new skills or techniques to combat new opponents.
While each crew member can hold their own by themselves, what makes the Straw Hats truly strong is their teamwork, which has become more important as the series has progressed. When one of them is incapable of doing a task, another can help out in their place instead. This helps the crew very much in facing odds that may be too much for them if they work separately.

You may have seen it in movies and will see it via the locals of Southeast Asia during your visit to the region. The conical straw hat is certainly an iconic piece of headwear. It is a little bit of everything, it is a hat, a sun protector, a head cooler, a fan, a water scooper, a basket and for many, especially in Vietnam, it is a source of pride and a fashion statement.
The conical straw hat, sometimes called the rice hat or the coolie hat is a type of headgear originating in East and Southeast Asia. As mentioned before, it is a good way to protection the sun's rays as well as a good tool for cooling off from the heat. The conical shape of the hat proves useful in blocking out the sun and protecting the eyes from the sun's brightness. Wearers of the hat usually have a piece of cloth (or silk) in the hat itself to keep wearer cool as well as a chin strap to keep the headgear on their head.
No other country is more closely associated with the hat than Vietnam. In fact, it forms part of its national costume, known as the aodai. And in Vietnam, the hats are intricately designed, with poem verses, flower designs and oriental symbols decorating the headgear. Some of these patterns can only be seen if it is in direct sunlight.
Did you know something as simple as a hat has its own legends about its origins? According to Vietnamese folklore, a woman wore such a hat made of four round leaves knitted with bamboo a very long time ago. The weather always became favorable wherever she appeared. She also enlightened many people on farming methods and plantation of trees and vegetables. All of a sudden, she disappeared and ascended into the heavens. She then became recognized as a goddess and ever since, hats were made imitating hers to protect from the sunshine and rain, just like it did to her.
