Studio Props
I'm doing a colour photo portrait project, can anyone give me advice on out of studio lighting?
I'm taking three shots, two high key and one low to high key, and I may not be able to get access to a studio. I know how to work with studio lights, but can anyone give me any advice on how to make the most of natural window light and indoor lighting to get a professional looking image? I'm using film by the way and I won't be working digitally. Each photo will be of a person, very staged and set up with make up, props and costumes.

Do you have a Light Meter? you will need one to check the lighting from the window to get the right effect. Use a North facing window to get the best results.
Try not to use tungsten light bulbs, because they will make you color images have a yellow cast, unless you get film that is made for that type of lighting (then don't use window or natural lighting because it will appear blueish on the tungsten film)
You can get a couple of cheep spot lights and natural lighting light bulbs (I use the GE Reveal) to get a little more lighting with the window lighting. It turns out pretty good if you have some working knowlage of studio lighting.

I need ideas to improve my prank?
I'm planning to prank a friend of mine. Idea is simple, get her to come to a modelling studio and frame the situation in such a way that she breaks something or something from the studio prop (rings,necklaces) go missing. But I wanna make it better, more fear inducing =D
