The Pros And Cons of Wearing Full Support Pantyhose On The Job
Nurses truly don't get enough credit not only for the actual amount of work that they put in during their grueling 12 hour shifts, but they don't get recognition for the physical strain that their bodies go through. They have to walk the hard floors of the halls of hospitals; all of the back and forth in the hallways can equate to walking for miles every day. They have to lift patients from bed, and when they aren't walking, bending, or lifting, they have to either sit or stand at the nurse's station. All of this can put a tremendous amount of wear and tear on the lower body. To offset this, some might think that wearing support pantyhose under their nursing uniforms will be helpful for them. In theory, this might seem like a good idea. But there could be some disadvantages to this as well.
There are some pros for nurses wearing full support pantyhose under their nursing uniforms. First, wearing full support pantyhose will help give their back, hips, and legs some extra support. Standing on one's feet all day, and running up and down the hard floors wearing tight and sturdy nursing shoes can cause the legs to get swollen, and sore. Wearing full support pantyhose can help to ease the pain, and take off some of the burden. Another advantage of nurses wearing full support pantyhose underneath their nursing uniforms, is that because the pantyhose will be opaque, they offer a lining of sorts. Nursing uniforms today tend to be very sheer cotton or polyester scrubs. Uniform scrubs tend to be as thin as a handkerchief. A lot of people might do things, like wear shorts underneath their nursing uniforms, so that no one can see through their uniform scrubs. By wearing full support pantyhose, this adds a layer of protection, and modesty. If the nurse is struggling with issues, such as varicose veins, or other disorders, she might need the support. Wearing full support pantyhose underneath a nursing uniform can actually help her perform her job.
There are some minor disadvantages to wearing full support pantyhose underneath a nursing uniform however. One disadvantage is that they can be very hot! This would be especially a problem for anyone wearing a nursing uniform that is made out of polyester. These uniforms already trap in heat. If they are wearing a good nursing shoe, their feet might also become very hot and moist. This would make the nurse feel very uncomfortable, and hinder the nurse's ability to do their job, especially for a 12 hour shift. One more disadvantage could be that it would take longer for the nurse to get dressed. Full support pantyhose are stiff by design. There might be times when a nurse is needed immediately for emergency situations. If she has taken a restroom break for example, full support pantyhose under her nursing uniform would impede her speed. The last disadvantage could be that her feet might rub against the insides of a sturdy nursing shoe. This would bring about a whole other set of problems, such as corns. Also, full support hose under a nursing uniform might impede her mobility. Nurses need full mobility when lifting patients.
So the argument could be made on both sides that full support pantyhose worn with a nursing uniform could be an advantage for her health, but a disadvantage for comfort, and mobility.

Hammock Stands for any Type of Hammocks
When a person might be considering to buy a hammock there are many factors that come into play. One may live in an area where there isn't a good spot to hang the hammock without a hammock stand. Depending on the type of hammock that you want to hang there are many ways to hang one whether it be a Mayan hammock, a hammock chair, or even a larger double hammock. For example if you only had one tree you could simply build a post at the proper distance from the tree to fit your hammock. One could use the same technique along the side of your house or any support that would be strong enough to support the weight of the person, or people on the hammock. Or you could simply make two posts to the proper length of the hammock being spread.
If you are looking for a more elegant approach and you don't have a good place to hang your hammocks then the hammock stands will most definitely come in handy. There are many different variations of the hammock stands to suit whatever hanging need you may have. There are some nice wooden hammock stands that are shaped like an arch that work well for the double hammocks with spreader bars as well as the same sized hammock stands made out of steel or aluminum. There are many other types of wooden hammock stands but the two most popular are the eucalyptus and the cypress. They both have natural properties that help them be protected from the elements and usually they are coated with multiple layers of protective coating for the extra durability. The steel and aluminum hammock stands might weigh a little less but ultimately they should last a little longer that the wooden hammock stands as they are made of metal. Of course other conditions may come into play.
When it comes to hanging hammock chairs one needs only one support above rather than two so this makes it a little more convenient. You could simply find a beam in the ceiling of your house and fasten it with a heavy duty lag eye bolt or if you want to hang it outside you can easily hang it off of any stable tree branch. If there is not a suitable tree branch or if you don't feel comfortable putting a bolt in your ceiling then there are many hammock chair stands that would work just fine. There are many unique styles of hammock chair stands to choose from, ranging from a typical C style frame, to a portable hammock stand in the shape of a tripod. The portable hammock stand will usually be a lightweight material such as aluminum as to provide easy transport. This particular hammock chair stand can weigh as little as 11 pounds and collapses nicely into a convenient carrying case. Then of course there is are double hammock chair stands that support two hammock chairs on the back of a truck or car. They attach to the trailer hitch of almost any vehicle.
There are some other very interesting hammock stands on the market today. If you do a little research you can find the perfect hammock stand for almost any hammock you would like to hang. They will most definitely come in handy if you can't seem to find a place to hang your hammocks. They also add to the flow of whatever environment with there simple charm and relaxing aura that they convey. They can also be moved around at will and they can be placed in areas where other furniture cannot.
