Hand Paint
How to care for your silk scarf hand painted or hand dyed silk shawl
Because silk is a material as thin and weak, many people assumes that there is anything lasting and very difficult to care. Hand painted designs add to the mix and increasing fears that the subject would be too impractical and therefore represent both unprofitable.
In reality, however, hand-painted silk scarves for women and hand dyed shawls are very easy to keep and make addition to a vast wardrobe of any lady.
As with any item that is worn on the body, silk scarves and shawls should be cleaned regularly to get rid of the stains, the residue of the smells and airborne pollutants that can affect the appearance of the material. Washing not only refreshes the colors, giving a new life, but also gets rid of odors can cling to any type of tissue. Far from shortening the life of this item, keeps it in tip-top condition your beautiful and unique scarf or shawl continues to provide value for many years. Here are some quick tips and easy to take into account to extend the life of your canvas wearable.
1. Hand wash the item. The dry cleaning process uses harsh chemicals that not only may have a material adverse effect on silk but also in the colors and dyes used to create unique designs in hand painted or hand dyed scarf or shawl. The agitation and temperature changes the clothes washing machine are subject at hand can also damage painted or dyed silk. Hand washing is fast, efficient and safe, and also of course, profitable. Use warm water instead of hot water, and always make sure you use a mild detergent or, better yet, a mild baby soap or shampoo. Ordinary household table salt, when added to the solution of soap and water keeps the colors at the point of bleeding, but never, under any circumstances, chlorine must be used.
2. Add vinegar during the rinse. Once your silk scarf or shawl has been washed, you then need to clarify clear water, fresh, making sure not to drain in the process. When all the soap is removed, rinse again, this time adding a little vinegar for cooking water. This not only neutralize the soap, but also a delight for the cloth and restore its natural shine. Finally, rinse again in clear cold water to remove the vinegar, being careful to ensure that no odor remains.
3. Use clean towels to dry the scarf or shawl. Silk should never be drained as it may cause it is stretched and deformed. Instead, put your scarf or shawl on a clean towel and then rolled. This actually squeeze out excess water without causing any damage. Once done, just put the scarf or shawl on another dry towel and let air dry.
4. Iron carefully. When it comes to iron your silk scarf or shawl, it is always preferable to work on the back of the fabric, but make sure the iron is in its lowest position. Alternatively, you can use a position slightly higher, but the place one point behind clean cotton cloth or towel to avoid direct contact with the heat.

Working in many different projects over the years ranging from bar and restaurant signs all the way to television and film sets and the creation of up shields site! These guys take most of the half-day projects until the job whatever the size you want.
His most recent major project is pictured in this article and as you can see for yourself, there is no fear of the great projects! this monster is 80 feet by 16 feet big! Its composed of 32 by 8 feet 4 feet of plywood joined together on the scaffolding. This project was an impressive four weeks and shortly after it was first used at the Download Festival, the owner called Nick and asked for another with some minor artistic changes, this second signal is just finished! This fast food stand was also used in Glastonbury and Silverstone for the British Grand Prix 2008, and going to festivals and racing events next season and hopefully many more to come.
