Fix the Drink/Ash tray in a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II?
How do you fix the Drink & Ash Trays in a 2000 Land rover discovery so they slide in and out? At the moment I have to shake and pull them to come out manually instead of just pressing on them to release automatically. (the coin tray works fine)
Try removing it and cleaning it. Something may have spilled and is making it sticky.
Remove the coin tray and ash tray and you'll see 6 screws. Remove them and then the whole thing comes out. You can then clean it up and maybe put something like sewing machine oil on the parts that move against each other.
