I'm going to visit my grandparents in california like 3 weeks from today and they're going to take me fishing on their new boat. whats a good fishing rod i can get that can handle the stress from a tuna tugging on it.

California offshore fishing generally targets tuna (albacore, bluefin, yellowfin) of 10-30 pounds (bigger ones are possible, but in general, 20 pounds are about tops) and dorado (mahi-mahi) of under 20 pounds. You may also see yellowtail out there (20-50 miles offshore).

For offshore fishing you'll want a rod and conventional reel built for 25 pound line. Collapsible (2-piece) rods are generally not as strong as one-piece rigs. Good rods will run you roughly $100+, as will a reel. For that size tackle, I like a 7 to 8 foot rod (I like Calstar, but Seeker and a few other manufacturers make good rods) and a reel the size of a Penn 500 (Penn, Daiwa, Shimano, and Newell all make appropriate reels).

For inshore fishing, you'll likely be looking for bass, barracuda, maybe yellowtail, or bottom fish like rockfish or sculpin. In general, for these you can use lighter gear (15-20 pound test line) on a conventional, spinning, or baitcasting outfit.

If you're just going out once or twice, you'd be best off seeing if your grandparents have an outfit for you. If you do want to buy your own rig, you're best off visiting a tackle shop when you get there, rather than having to ship a 7-foot rod across the country when you travel.

Light Adult Incontinence - Are Kegel Exercises Right For You?

As people age, and particularly women, the muscles of the pelvic floor can lose their tone and become weakened inviting the onset of light adult incontinence.  These muscle sets support the organs in the abdomen including the bladder.  When that support is weakened the bladder becomes susceptible to both exterior and interior stress.  Simple actions like sneezing, coughing or a hearty "belly" laugh can provide enough pressure to cause a slight involuntary discharge of urine.

Women are particularly vulnerable to this condition especially if they have been through one or more pregnancies and childbirths.  The stretching and otherwise damaging of the pelvic floor muscles may result in pressure on the bladder from other organs as they move in the body from lack of support, or the collapse of the bladder itself.

Light adult incontinence in men is typically the result of an enlarged prostate.  However, couple that condition with a weakened set of abdominal muscles and the likelihood of suffering from incontinence is greatly increased.
