i have an led wall mounted tv and several components. whats the best way to connect them?
I have a blu ray player, dvd home cinema system, sky+ HD, and an xbox 360 on a "separates glass stand". as the tv is wall mounted, what is the best way to connect them all?
i.e. could i use a av receiver, or an other cheaper alternative like a wireless transmitter?
my main ain is to reduce the number of wires i have running down the wall from the tv. so drilling holes into the wall is not an option.
Using HDMI cable for the blu ray disc player to the tv, HDMI cable from the home theater to the tv, sky+HD using HDMI cable to the tv, if you have a fourth HDMI port then connect the XBOX using HDMI cable, if not you have to switch back and forth with the blu ray disc player. Also connect an optical cable from the tv to the dvd home theater so that you can use it hear the surround sound from the other systems. With all the wires showing, you might get yourself a wire sleeve from Best Buy, Fry's or Radio Shack so that the wires will not show going to the tv. The alternative is drilling a hole on the wall close to the tv back connection and running the wires inside the wall and then another hole close to the bottom of the wall.
