Do you think that backdrops are quickly becoming out of style?
I just bought a white and black backdrop, as I've never been much a fan of the patterned ones,
I've noticed lately that most professional photographers seem to have no shots with a background, or very few.
Everyone: Would you prefer a shoot on a backdrop? Or outdoors/on location somewhere?
Photographers: Backdrops = cool / backdrops = cheap and tacky

i've been thinking about the same thing lately.
not sure which i like better.
i guess it depends on how good the outdoors/location looks.
and sometimes the theme of the picture effects it also.
sometimes i like just a plain background, but other times i end up photoshopping in a background.
