Sheriff Departments use videos for Contemporary Education
Using contemporary video to educate young people and parents
Northern California-based film and video production company, Zan Media, commissioned by Marin and the Sheriff Doyle Mendocino County 'Robert and Tom Allan, respectively, for projects aimed at achieving a nerve in the community and hopefully save lives in the process. The films were very different in content and style, but the goal was the same consciousness.
My husband and I own Zan media http://www.zanmedia.com And I am very proud to have our interaction with these fine men and their departments, which serve this area with remarkable distinction.
County Mendocino, Sheriff Allman heard a clear mandate in his victory in the '06 election as a judge: to solve the meth problem plaguing the county. But, according to their words, "I thought of 20 ideas that I knew would not work, but work may be needed, and I knew there could be as simple as throwing in the hands of the police. "He was beaten by a belief that if parents, youth counselors and religious community leaders and law enforcement worked together, I might be able to stop this crisis. The idea has several components: saliva drug test offered to parents through schools, with an explanatory video.
