nikon 150mm macro does it zoom?

i was figuring since this lens is a 150 it might only be 150 with no zoom. if this is the case it i am dissapointed. i need a macro lens that is high quality under $1000 prefferably nikon or sigma and has some zoom on it not fixed. n e 1 know of some. thanks

The only Nikon zoom that has a semblance of macro is the 24-85 mm f/2.8~4 macro lens (1:2 macro ratio). Most macro lenses are prime lenses. This is so they can reproduce objects that are sharp edge to edge at a 1:1 magnification ratio.

The 24-85 mm is under $600
